Industrial Partner
'Gas Sense' is the name given to a project currently being undertaken by Dr. A R Daniels at the 'University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology' (UMIST) and an industrial partner 'AromaScan'.
The aim of the project is to develop a 'Portable Gas Odour Monitor' capable of detecting 'Dry Rot' in wood and also the monitoring of airborne substances in hazardous environments, to name two.
